DIY Facial Scrub

facial scub

Hi this is Abril Alanis from The Color Palette  and today I’m going to tell you my secret to have glowing skin… This DIY facial scrub is very simple, and exfoliating!

To get the best results, I recommend using this gem once a week to remove dead skin cells and unclog pores.

At the beauty department we can find tons of facial products to exfoliate our skin, most of those products can be quite expensive and contain fragances, glycerin and other chemicals that may irritate the delicate facial skin.

Time for the fun part,  here are some simple recipes to make homemade scrubs with ingredients you already have at home.

Facial Scrub directions :

  •  Regular skin: Mix one tablespoon of honey with 1/4 cup of oatmeal and 1/4 cup of milk
  •  Oily skin: Mix 1 banana and 3 tablespoons of brown sugar.
  •  Dry skin: Mix 1 tablespoon of almond oil with 1/2 tablespoon of vanilla extract and 1/4 cup of brown sugar.
  • Extra tip : For extra silkness add the gel inside of 4 o 5 vitamin E capsules to the mix.

Don’t you hate when you get a pimple in the worst moment? The next recipe is going to save the day!

Facial scrub to remove pimples:

Grind 4 acid acetycsalsylic pills and mix them with 1 tablespoon of baking soda and a little bit of water. And that’s all! What’s better then saving money while having beautiful skin?

Do you know any other recipe to make homemade scrubs?

Thanks to the sweet Victoria for letting me guest blog here and don’t forget to stop by The color palette, see you later!
