Tarte vs. Urban Decay- review

From my past 2 sephora hauls, you will notice that I purchased the Tarte smooth amazonian clay pressed powder, and then the Urban Decay Naked skin ultra definition powder. The only reason why I am trying new powders is because Makeup Forever has slashed my color from the pro finish multi-use foundation powder ( I am extremely devastated still). It was seriously the best powder I have ever used over my foundation or alone. I even tried the number right below and above but no.

So anywho, I ended up returning the Tarte one and exchanging it for Urban decay for several  reasons; 1. The color was too light, this line of Tarte only has 4 colors fair, light, medium, and tan. Basic right? I was so dissapointed by the way it felt on my skin and how it was applied. The associate at Sephora was so excited to show me this, and I was bummed it didn’t work out.

The Urban Decay one on the other hand lots of different colors to choose from, and best part you can pick which type of coverage you want light, medium, or full coverage. The sponge it comes with has 2 different sides a velvety kind and the regular sponge. You can apply this powder either wet or dry depending on the coverage. It goes on so smooth and the foundation is so soft!  I felt this powder was the closest thing to feeling like the Makeup forever powder, and it is great for people with oily skin.
